How I Found the Breakthrough in Heart Attack

ABSTRACT:

This is a story about how a healthy physician with over 20 years of experience was tortured to develop a heart attack, found the breakthrough through the 6Q Approach, and be in charge of her work and life again.

I finally understand why heart attack can be the #1 cause of death for men and women and cost millions of dollars per person after going through intense stress and developing a heart attack myself.  Fortunately, I found the additional tools to identify the skills and strategy needed, meet my challenges, beat stress, recover fast, and save over 90% of costs. I like to share my story as many lives and dreams can be saved from heart attack like mine.

Comparison of the 6Q Approach and Traditional Approach in Heart Attack

How I Suffered from a Heart Attack

Common risk facts in heart attack include Atherosclerosis, Diabetes, Hypertension and family history. I had none of those but super healthy before I had an auto-accident in January 2021– a man suddenly cut in front of me while I was driving on my right way.  I did not go to the emergency room right way as I had other urgent issues and was going to take care of myself since I am a doctor.

The man had a policy enough to repair my car and cover my initial injury and time losses. However, his insurance company, Mercury Insurance Company (Mercury), tricked me to take my car to its dealer to drive the repair cost up over 100% while depreciating my car value almost 40%.  Once they claimed my car a total loss, they could end my rental in 5 days instead of 25~30 days if to repair my car.  I asked Mercury to fix my car at the body shop that did initial evaluation.  However, Mercury refused.

The accident was not my fault.  Instead of taking care of me, Mercury set me up, made me put down my urgent issues to find a new car in 5 days or re-register my car within 20 days.  These made me incredibly angry, unable to sleep, sweat a lot… At one period, I could develop chest pain if I thought about Mercury or talked to someone at Mercury. Then I had to go to ER for chest pain a few days later.  Mercury did not care.

Eventually, I decided to pay for additional rental and repair my car to save my time for more important issues but only discovered more set up waiting for me– I ALSO had to pass brake tests, light tests, smog check, and go to DMV again and again in order to re-register my car.  In the meantime, Mercury pressed me to sign away my personal damage and losses for a few hundred dollars, which was not enough to cover one emergency room visit!! The outrageous meanness and abuse made me even angrier.  Soon, I was admitted to the hospital for positive Troponin (heart attack diagnostic test). Hospital told me to avoid ALL stress but could not be specific.

I was afraid to talk to their claim adjuster after discharged from the hospital.  However, the adjuster was eager to call me, email me and send me letters to press me to accept $3000 for my ENTIRE medical costs and personal losses, especially after he knew he could push me right back to my doctors by making me angry.  Thus, I had to go back to ER, see my doctors…

I Decided to Recover Myself from Heart Attack

My first cardiologist advised me to let go the car accident and “Avoid ALL Stress.”  Heart attack is directly related to physical and mental stress. Unexpected or abusive challenges often exacerbate the stress.  No risk facts and family history does not spare everyone. I am a perfect example.

However, my life and work are full of different kinds of challenges and associated stress.  To let go the torture and end my career and business, I would become a living dead and cost millions of healthcare dollars and social benefits, which would stress me even worse.  I knew that the 6Q approach that I initially invented to recover myself from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) that happened in 1997 could benefit heart attack victims greatly and had helped some patients at clinics.  Thus, I decided to recover myself — find the skills and strategy needed, meet challenges, beat stress, and enhance healing to further reduce stress’ impact on my heart. The 6Qs are IQ, EQ, learning Q, Public Influence Q, Adversity Q and Health Q.

My first cardiologist discharged me from his practice since we had “different philosophies.” My second cardiologist could not do more but offer more than expensive assessments when my symptoms become severe enough for tent, bridge, bypass, transplant, etc.  I am glad that none of them used B-blockers and ACE inhibitors to minimize stress’ impact on my heart.  I will tell you why later.

I Made It!

I made it. It was not easy, but it was timely.

By the time I went to the court with Mercury, the Judge was a managing director at Los Angeles for Perkins Coie that represents the tech giant who wants to steal and rob our business. She not only helped Mercury walk away from the 1st Mercury-made heart attack free, but also granted Mercury “the right” to abuse discoveries to torture me to suffer 2nd heart attack and sanctioned me for protecting my life (Los Angeles Supreme Court S273292).  She wanted to leave me nothing and kneel for life so that her client can get our business at “a good price.” Yet, her supervisors found either her doing was not unethical or the case was not extraordinary.

Nothing can be more unethical and extraordinary than to grant Mercury the right to torture their victim to suffer 2nd heart attack, given heart attack is #1 cause of death for men and women, 1 in 5 deaths!  Unlike George Floyd, I can still breathe because the 6Q Approach I invented.  Still, I need your support for justice.

Chest pain relapses sometimes.  I quickly pull out my new tools, and they worked.  My heart’s ejection fraction rate has increased close to the optimal level of function in one year.  Two months after I recovered from the heart attack, the tech giant teamed up with my landlord and broke into our office to steal and rob our intellectual property. I was able to stand up for my rights and protect my life and our business.

It feels great to be who I am, do what I need, and be in charge of my work and life AGAIN!

What Is Missing in Traditional Care for Heart Attack?

Efficient Stress Management.  Traditional treatment is good at saving life and maintaining basic life and then asks survivors to “Avoid ALL Stress” or minimizes stress’ impact on heart with B-blockers and ACE inhibitors.  Traditional care offers tent, bridge, bypass, transplant, and other life support to relieve blood occlusion when symptoms become severe enough.

However, “Avoid All Stress” is equal to ask heart attach survivors to let go ANYTHING for life, which is unrealistic to most survivors, such as me.  B-blockers and ACE inhibitors can minimize their optimal performance further, which can kill many dreams and opportunities. How can a person achieve a goal with 50~80% of them when they cannot always achieve the same goal with 100% of them? These are why heart attack is still the # 1 cause of death for men and women.

The average healthcare costs and productivity losses in heart attack is about $760,000 to $1 million in 20 years, per National Business Group on Health.  My entire costs for Eastern and Western medicine and 6Q tools are less than $30,000, which is 95~97% of the cost saving. Many survivors can recover fast, be in charge of their work and life again and save big money like me if their providers can assess them at macro and micro levels and fully utilize different tools at different stages, which is what we called the 6Q Approach. Traditional care mainly focuses on individuals and works at the micro level with a single tool.

How the 6Q Approach Makes the Differences?

Unlike traditional approach, the 6Q Approach assesses individuals at macro and micro levels and fully utilizes different tools at different stages.

1. Find the Skill or Strategy Needed to Minimize Stress‘ Size

Studies at the University of California at Long Beach found that the more control individuals have, the less stress they suffer.  It is OK to meet daily challenges with some IQ and EQ tools and being positive. However, it requires to explore the whole 6Q system to find skills and strategies needed to meet complex challenges and make learning and implementation easy.  Then stress will decrease significantly, which takes away the big root cause for heart attack.

In my case, the stress was overwhelming. It is insurance fraud to deprive the benefits to which victims are entitled.  It is malice to set a super healthy person up, torture her to develop a heart attack, and push her back to the hospitals over and over.  It is unconstitutional and inhuman to grant Mercury the right to torture their victim to suffer 2nd heart attack to help her clients outside.  And Mercury has attempted to utilize the “new legal right!”  Would you let them go if you were me?

I believe you will not, either.  To stand up for my rights, I started to analyze my 6Q, find the skills and strategy needed to meet challenges and beat stress. I tried them out and adjusted them accordingly as I was pushed back to the hospitals over and over.  Eventually, I’ve found the tools needed

2. Enhance Healing to Minimize Stress’ Toxicity

In addition to minimizing stress size, we can also reduce stress’ toxicity before the stress can impact our hearts.  Most people are familiar with diet, exercise, no smoking, no drug, which are Western medicine.  We can also optimize healing and internal balance through Eastern medicine and 6Q tools.  Then many victims will have more chances to recover like me.

In my case, I also went to Eastern medicine for additional healing and internal balance after I fully utilized my 6Q tools and Western medicine, so I can reduce stress toxicity and overall impact further before stress can impact my heart. That is another reason why I have made it.

3. Make Learning and Implementation Easy

The 6Q Approach can also make learning easy. First, it minimizes the learning needed. Second, it makes the learning and implementation easy.

4. Anticipate Needs and Take Early Action

For those who have done the 6Q assessment, the 6Q approach can anticipate their needs when their environment changes, such as work/business changes, and enable them to take early action and stay healthy even they are thousands of miles away. Their 6Q data is usually good for 2 years unless something major happens.

5. Who Can Benefit from the 6Q Approach?

  • Those whose heart issue emerges or gets worse under stress or challenge-meeting.
  • Those who find it unrealistic to avoid all stress.
  • Those who desire to be in charge of their work and life again.

Stress impacts almost everyone with heart issue. Those with no underlying health issues can benefit the 6Q approach more as they can fully utilize its tools. Those with underlying health issues can certainly recover better and stay healthy longer via the 6Q Approach. Women post menopause can benefit from the 6Q Approach the most as the stress at their work and life often increase at their age while their immunity often decreases due to their bio changes.

The first group includes many executives, many menopause women, and others at different ages. Because they have no underlying health issues, this group can fully utilize 6Q tools and Eastern medicine to reduce stress size and toxicity, recover fast, and stay well after traditional care saves their life. I am an excellent example. Women post menopause can benefit from the 6Q Approach the most as the stress at their work and life often increase at their age while their immunity decreases due to their bio changes. Others may face increased stress at their work and/or life while their immunity decreases temporally due to stress, such as executives.

Those with family history and/or underlying health risks, such as Atherosclerosis, Diabetes and Hypertension, have more reasons to minimize stress size efficiently than to “Avoid ALL Stress” or use medication to minimize stress impact over their heart at the price of their optimal performance.  Efficient stress management can also minimize stress impact over Hypertension and Diabetes and makes it easier for individuals to quit poor stress management like smoking, drinking, food, and drugs.  However, it is not recommended to use Eastern medication when individuals are taking Western medication as it is hard to anticipate the negative interaction between the two medicine.

Summary

How I discovered the breakthrough in heart attack may sound brutal. That is the reality for those heart attack victims who must stand up for their rights and do what is needed.

Nevertheless, heart attack does not have to be the #1 cause of death for men and women as many victims can find the skills or strategy needed, meet challenges, enhance healing, beat stress, and recover fast or stay healthy longer through the 6Q Approach. I am a good example.

Do you know someone who is suffering from heart attack and desires to recover faster and be in charge of his or her work and life again? Tell the person my story.
